Sydney International 2014

jiske griffioen

On the 6th of january I arrived in Sydney. Together with Maikel Scheffers and headcoach Marc Kalkman, we prepared for the Sydney International that started the 10th of january. We trained at Olympic Parc, so a good preparation for the 1st Super Series event of the year.

The 1st day of the tournament, I had a bye in singles. So an extra day of training. On saturday I played my 1st match of 2014. I played Mio Niho from Japan. I won the 1st set 6-0. In the 2nd set I struggled a little more, but I still took the set 6-2. Good start of the season.
